As you may know, they love us at thelondonist and have done nice press for us in the recent past. There will be a match report on Monday too.

I got this from their editor Lindsey today:

"Congrats on the win tonight, Shell - that was you in the corset with the whip, right? I admired you from afar. A new photographer for Londonist - Suke- was very excited. So much so she bought a t shirt and hopefully got some amazing shots for my match report on Monday. In the meantime, I wondered whether you'd consider putting together a LRR team for the Londonist quiz: http://londonist.com/2009/09/londonist_ ... p_now.php?? Bring some glamour to the proceedings

Thanks for organising my press tickets - I had such a good time - the whole thing is such fun. I love it. Cheers! x"

I'm already going to the quiz with my friends, but do you lot fancy coming along as an LRR team?

Wow, that's a lot of yeses. I think team numbers are restricted to 5... We can sort that out nearer the time. I'll let them know we'll definitely put a team in.

I've signed us up. Here's the info if you can't click on the link (?!)

Where is it?: Ray's Jazz Cafe, First Floor at Foyles, 113-119 Charing Cross Road.

And when?: 1 October, 7pm start.

So when, would you say, should we turn up?: Ooo, maybe about 6.40ish. We need to vacate the room at 9pm, so it'd be good to get everyone cosy before a 7pm start.

Do we have to pay?: Yes. £2 per person, but all proceeds will go to our favourite charity, the London Air Ambulance.

What can we win? Not sure yet, but we'll cobble something interesting and Londony together. We'll also present a customised blue plaque to the winning team.

How big can teams be? Up to five people. Guide dogs count as half a person.

I've registered one team. Londonist say they are close to capacity for numbers, but will let us have a second team if we're sure.

Are we sure we want 2 teams? Looks like we have enough interest at the moment. It's nice and central too!
