You could get a couple of those massive foam hands they used to use in the audience of Gladiators. That would stop you hurting it. Then when you're not playing, you could run around shouting 'DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST' while doing the hand movements at anyone who falls over.

Hey Ladies, went to hospital today - they've put an alluminium split on my finger that goes all the way down to my wrist :( Feels alot more supported but just hoping i can get my wrist guard on. also does anyone know if thats a violation of rules of the game i.e. will refs stop me from playing with it?!
Doc said today that when finger went back ligament pulled a bit of bone away!! YUK!! Thats grossed me out more that it being a straight forward break!!
I've gotta keep this splint on for 4 weeks - can't get it wet so have to have towel or bag over my hand when I have a shower - gets me out of doing the washing up though - sorry Nathan ;) x

Betty x

See you need Gladiator hands. They could act as a loof in the shower, and a brillo pad when you're washing up. Problem solved.
