Hello all.
I've got a project for my radio lesson, of 2-5 minutes long. I've been paired with someone but we've chosen to do something on roller derby.
Wondered if I could come to practice and record skating and peoples comments.
It won't be broadcast publicly and you'll be asked if you want to, not just have a mic stuck under your nose for comment.
It'll be like an introduction piece on what derby's about, why its so fun.

Sorry to ask, thank you for reading. :)

Hey Panda!
Yey , that sounds excellent! Where will it be aired?

Let us know what date/time and a bit more of what you want to get out of it and .. lets do radio history!

Kit

Anything that isn't published publicly could always be published by yourselves :) I love the internet :P

I think it's a great idea.

If its any good, will be trying to put it up online, the whole thing. I thinking of recording some sound for my radio feature of the bout, by the use of my Dad. Its just a radio mic, might not record anything of any use. But I was wondering if this was okay with everyone, he shouldn't get in the way. Thanks.

I did a degree in radio (Mickey mouse degree I know!) and for all my OB recordings I used a mini disc player as it can be transferred to edit suite through USB cable. I have one with a mic if you need to borrow it....

Hello,
Didn't get anything I could use at the bout when recording, coming up on the 29th to record some sounds of skating and little interviews if anyone doesn't mind that. Mostly on how the games played and what the different players do, rules regulations. Why you play roller derby. The basic stuff really. I hope that's okay with everyone, will try and stay out of the way so to disrupt practice to much.
