Hello!!

I don't know if people are using this Topic much, and I think I've chatted to most of you already, but I just thought I'd say howdy.

I'm Lydia, the very small lady with dark hair. I'm terrible with names so apologies if I forget yours, there's a lot of names and faces to get to know!

Also, is there a list anywhere of who's on which commitee? In particular who's on the merch commitee, I wanted to ask if there are any stickers with our web address on I could buy to give to people I get chatting too about rollerderby...

Hey dude! I'll start working on a list of jobs which I'll put on the Noob FOrum page. Merch is Red'n'Roll as far as last week was concerned though may have changed since our League meeting. I'm the one who was forcing you to do cross-overs on Tuesday evening and talking non-stop. I'll be at training tomorrow so grab me then and I'll try find out for you.

Good to see you here on the forum! :)

The committee members are being updated, once we have a full list I will update the committee members sticky post here, so we all know.

Merch is headed up by Honour and Red.

We have got business cards, with our web address on, Vee has got a box of them, i will ask her to bring some for tomorrow, or Sunday for you. Great stuff you are spreading the word btw, do you want to work on the PR committee!? :D

Aloha!

FInally managed to set up a profile but none of my images fit!! I'm the new girl who "forearmed" and cut track during training the other night - I promise to get better!!

Anyway, I'm hooked, only after a month of training - what the f**k did I do with my tuesday and thursday evenings before I did this???!!

I mentioned the other night about a show I'm going to be performing in next Thursday 6th August - I'm a burlesque girl (sorry, you've probably had enough of us!) but I'm alright, I think...I dance just like this little fella: :banana:

...Since there is no training on next Thursday, why don't ya come to the show!! It's at Madam Jojo's in Soho, tix are £8.50 (advance only!!) and I'll either be performing my "Amazona" act, or my version of "Dance of the Seven Veils" - I warn ya now, I'm a sleaze bag, can't do the cutie shy thing (though I'm good at pretending!)
It's an audition show - best performers get shortlisted to travel to Holland and perform there, and being a competitive spirit, I WANNA WIN!!!

Great! If some of you are interested, doors are at 8, showtime at 9 (but I recommend getting there for 8ish as you'll end up without a seat!).
Jan, this will be PUURRRfect - nothing like a dose of cabaret to get you into holiday mode!

Training was great fun yesterday as usual! Every week I do get better at something I couldn't do before! It's great!
I didn't do the march - a few people I work with knew about it and were reading up on it - they don't know I perform!
But hey, if I get the sack, I'm running off to VEGAS!!! :rockon2:
